This morning I climbed to the very topmost floor of my building (nineteen storeys). At the top, all the apartments' doors were locked, so there were no views to be had of the outside. Nonetheless the sky could be glimpsed through a hatch in the roof.

On Saturday I walked from my home in Grafton to the Harbour Bridge. I walked to the bridge in the hope of finding out whether one can walk across. I found out that while there is a walkway, it is not open to the public.

So in theory one can walk across the bridge, but in practice one may not do so.

Today I walked from Mangere towards the Airport, in an effort to discover whether one could reach the Airport on foot. I established that, walking as far as the pedestrian path would allow, one can get to within about a kilometre and a half of the Airport.
